MONTROSE, Colo. (August 26, 2008) - Greg Norman made a special visit to Cornerstone on August 25, 2008 to play a dedication round of golf on his newest golf course in the US - Cornerstone, a private club and 6,000-acre residential community near Telluride, CO.

A gallery of about 100 Members and guests enjoyed watching Norman play an exhibition round and offer insights as to the design of the spectacular 7,978 yard, par-72 golf course. Offering stunning views of the San Juan and West Elk mountains, Norman praised Cornerstone as "the best mountain golf course in the world."

Known for his "least disturbance" design philosophy, which takes full advantage of the natural facets of the landscape and reduces massive earth movement and large-scale clearing, Norman commended the design and construction teams for their fulfillment of his vision for the golf course layout. Norman's first look at the property was in January 2004, when he toured it on snowmobile. Designed to both challenge and reward players of every level, the course provides all golfers the opportunity to enjoy and excel at their games.
