Return Of The Shark
"I can make this comment right here and now... this is by far the best mountain golf course in the world. It's easy to throw around the accolades and the statements like that, but I've played a lot of great golf courses. And when you come and see the end result here at Cornerstone, it's truly a dream come true." - Greg Norman

Greg Norman returned to Cornerstone on August 25, 2008 to dedicate his newest U.S. golf course. A gallery of over 100 members and guests looked on while Norman played his exhibition round on Cornerstone's 7,945 yards, par-72 course. Norman admirably stated, "This is the 6th time I've been here. Since January of 2004 plowing around on a snowmobile, to where we are today, you should be very proud, because I's very proud of Cornerstone."
Norman acknowledged Cornerstone's integral role in working with his design team to bring this vision to reality and specifically, Golf Course Superintendent Tom Huesgen for preparing the golf course for its debut this summer. Huesgen, who joined Cornerstone after eight years at the prestigious Pebble Beach Golf Links, has an impressive level of personal attention to detail and has created a great team to ensure that the Cornerstone golf course is in excellent condition.
In his closing remarks, Norman said "Now go and enjoy what Cornerstone is supposed to be all about. Enjoy what Mother Nature's given you, appreciate what Greg Norman Golf Course Design has given you, what Hunt Realty Investments has done and appreciate everybody behind the scenes who has really done a tremendous job of getting Cornerstone where we are today. You should be very proud of all that's been accomplished."
